To secure your reservation, we require a non-refundable reservation retainer of $250.00. This retainer reserves our services exclusively for your event, and it is non-refundable in case of cancellation. Please note, in order to accommodate your reservation, we have declined other clients who were interested in booking our services for the same date and time. This is why the reservation retainer is non-refundable, as it compensates for potential lost business.

The final amount for our services is due no later than 48 hours before the start of your event. We kindly request prompt payment to ensure a seamless experience.

Our Bounce Houses are for toddler use only with a five-person maximum. Bounce houses are designed for jumping and bouncing; somersaults, flips, and other forms of roughhousing and horseplay is prohibited.

  • Inflatable Specifications

Every inflatable has at least one inflation tube that is attached to a motor/blower. It’s important to ensure that all other inflation tubes are securely fastened so air doesn’t escape. Every inflatable has at least four anchoring points. Some slides or larger inflatables will have at least two more to secure it from tipping over. It’s important to ensure that all anchoring points are properly secured to the ground to prevent the inflatable from tipping over. Some inflatables have Velcro and zippers. These need to be closed and fastened at all times to prevent children from falling out of the inflatable.

  •  Motor/Blower

It’s important to ensure that all other inflation tubes are securely fastened so air doesn’t escape. The motor/blower should not moved and be on at all times to keep the inflatable properly inflated.

  • Emergency Procedures

If inflatable beings deflate or collapse, REMAIN CALM and direct everyone to move away from the inflatable. If someone is trapped inside of a collapsed inflatable, direct someone to re-inflate the product while helping the person out of the product at the same time.

Yes! All of our units are cleaned thoroughly. We are committed to making sure that your children are playing in a clean, well maintained, and safe environment. After each rental, every unit is thoroughly cleaned by commercial vinyl cleaners, disinfected, and sanitized. Once the unit is clean, it will be inspected to ensure cleanliness.

The Bounce houses are 10×10 feet which requires 2 feet clearance on each side, 3 feet in front entrance and 4 feet in the rear for air tube and blower with an additional 2ft clearance in height with a 480 lbs. weight capacity. The Bounce house will be weighed down with 50lbs sandbags or stakes and the blower must be plugged in the bouncer the entire time. The bouncer requires electricity and will need to be plugged into a standard outlet within 40 feet of the setup. We will provide extension cords, tarps, and sandbags. 


The Ballon Bubble Bounce House is approximately 13 feet and requires 1 feet clearance on each side, 3 feet in front entrance and 4 feet in the rear for air tube and blower with an additional 1ft clearance in height. The Bounce house will be weighed down with 50lbs sandbags and the two blowers must be plugged in the bouncer the entire time.
Softplay mats can accommodate maximum size up to 20×50 feet.

The soft play equipment should not be used during rain, strong winds, thunderstorms, or other weather conditions that could pose a safety risk. If adverse weather is forecasted, the Client and Company may discuss options for rescheduling or cancellation. If it rains for your outdoor event, an indoor location can be used. If this is not possible, we can reschedule the date of the event or refund 50% of the payments made upon cancelation of the event. This contract, after signing, is a legal and binding contract.

To cancel or reschedule, sufficient notice must be given – at least 48 hours prior to the start of your event. Cancellation of event with less than 48-hour notice forfeits entire deposit. Cancellation after set-up has begun forfeits any refund. Postponement of the event with at least 1 weeks’ notice may entitle you to use all or part of your deposit towards a timely rescheduled event at our discretion. Any rescheduled event is subject to availability of activities at the time of notification of postponement.

All of our units are made from 100% lead free vinyl. Safety is not an option, it’s a REQUIREMENT, and the safety of your children is our #1 priority.

Significant Affairs offers a wide range of Softplay packages that are perfect for adding excitement and entertainment to any party, event, or celebration. Our Softplay packages are ideal for keeping toddlers engaged and having fun at birthday parties, church festivals, charity events,  family reunions, Vacation Bible Schools, summer camps, parks, and much more!

Our colorful balloon additions are designed to enhance the festive atmosphere and contribute to the overall visual appeal of the soft-play area. Whether it’s a birthday party, a special event, or a casual playdate, our balloon decorations add that extra touch of magic.

For outdoor events, it is understood that atmospheric conditions such as sunshine, wind, and other weather factors can significantly impact the durability of balloon décor. Therefore, ELW3 Enterprises LLC, operating as Significant Affairs, cannot guarantee that balloons will withstand inclement weather. Customers are advised to have a contingency plan for outdoor events, which may include access to indoor locations in case of adverse weather conditions.

All equipment/props utilized for balloon décor are the exclusive property of ELW3 Enterprises LLC, doing business as Significant Affairs, and are provided on a rental basis. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the equipment is returned in the same condition as received, subject to reasonable wear and tear. Balloon disposal and haul-away services are a part of this agreement.

 

Under no circumstances should water be used with any inflatable that is not designed for such use. However, there are inflatables designed for use with water. We will be glad to let you know what water units are available for you to rent for your event. We do provide a water hose (25ft long) if inflatable is further please have a water hose present.

Softplay equipment is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For outdoor events, we recommend having a shaded area or a canopy to cover the play space. Outdoor softplay equipment should be set up in a shaded area to prevent it from becoming excessively warm. Direct sunlight can cause the equipment to heat up, which could make it uncomfortable or unsafe for children to use.

If you plan to set up on grass, the grass must be dry. We cannot install the equipment on wet surfaces, dirt, or loose bark. Additionally, the area must be cleaned and cleared of any debris before our arrival. The set-up process typically takes 1-2 hours before the rental period begins.

We offer free delivery to within 5 miles of South Sacramento, Ca zip code 95822. Any location beyond that will be charged at a rate of $2 per mile. This is for a round/two-way trip. Where such costs are incurred, they will be added to the final bill. The Client agrees to provide the Company with access to the event venue to drop off, set up, and pick up the rental equipment. Please inquire about a delivery fee if your event is outside our delivery area.

Our play equipment is suited for children 5 years old and younger.

All equipment must be kept within the designated play area, and balls must remain inside the ball pit at all times.

Adult supervision is required.

Rules are in place to ensure the safety of all participants and to maintain the integrity of the play area. By adhering to these guidelines, we can create a secure and enjoyable environment for everyone involved. We appreciate your cooperation in upholding the rules for the benefit of all guests.

Failure to adhere to these requirements may result in part or full forfeiture of the client’s security deposit.

 

If there is any damage to soft play or bounce house equipment, regardless of cause, ELW3 Enterprises LLC DBA Significant Affairs will seek reimbursement for the full price to fix the damage and/or full replacement value of the rented item.

PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

In consideration of the services of ELW3 Enterprises LLC DBA Significant Affairs, their agents, owners, officers, managers, volunteers, employees, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their behalf (hereinafter collectively referred to as
“ELW3”), I hereby agree to release, indemnify, and discharge ELW3, on behalf of myself, my spouse, my children, my parents, my heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate as follows:

1. I acknowledge that my participation in an wet and dry inflatable devices, activities entails known and unanticipated risks that could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death, or damage to myself, to property, or to third parties. I understand that such risks simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity.

The risks include, among other things: slipping and falling; collision with fixed objects or people; the exposure to insects; falling off of or being thrown from the inflatables or other amusement devises, falling from significant heights, pinches, twists and jolts, strains, sprains, broken bones and musculoskeletal injuries including head, neck, accidental drowning; life threatening injuries, and back injuries; cuts,
abrasions, and bruises; cardiac related illness; exposure to temperature and weather extremes which could cause hypothermia, hyperthermia
(heat related illnesses), heat exhaustion, sunburn, heat stroke, and dehydration; transmissible pathogen or disease; the negligence of
participants, or other persons who may be present; equipment failure or operator error; my own physical condition, and the physical exertion associated with this activity.
Furthermore, ELW3 personnel have difficult jobs to perform. They seek safety, but they are not infallible. They might be unaware of a participant’s fitness or abilities. They might misjudge the weather or other environmental conditions. They may give incomplete warnings or instructions, and the equipment being used might malfunction.

2. I expressly agree and promise to accept and assume all of the risks existing in this activity. My participation in this activity is purely voluntary, and I elect to participate in spite of the risks.

3. I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless ELW3 from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, which are in any way connected with my participation in this activity or my use of ELW3 equipment or facilities, including any such claims which allege negligent acts or omissions of ELW3.

4. Should ELW3 or anyone acting on their behalf, be required to incur attorney’s fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs.

5. I certify that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I may cause or suffer while participating, or else I agree to bear the costs of such injury or damage myself. I further certify that I am willing to assume the risk of any medical or physical condition I may have.

6. In the event that I file a lawsuit against ELW3, I agree to do so solely in the state of California, and I further agree that the substantive law of that state shall apply in that action without regard to the conflict of law rules of that state. I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining document shall remain in full force and effect. By signing this document, I acknowledge that if anyone is hurt or property is damaged during my participation in this activity, I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against ELW3 on the basis of any claim from which I have released them herein. I also agree that this document is valid for subsequent visits and participation at ELW3. I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document. I have read and understood it, and I agree to be bound by its terms.
